Set Up

To Attach the Resistance Bands:

Resistance Bands can be used on Foundation exercises, Activation Roller exercises, and Balpro Board exercises. Depending on the exercise, one or more bands can be attached to the Foundation.

A.

B.

C.

1.

Resistance Bands will always be attached to the Foundation through the loops, even when being used with the Platform

A. Slide handle to end of nylon loop

B. Insert handle through the Foundation loop

C. Slide handle to equalize so it sits perfectly centered on the Foundation loop. Assure COR-XT® Functional Trainer logo is centered to the loop.

2.

Securely anchor the other end of the Resistance Band to a safe, sturdy unit or wall anchor system. COR-XT® Functional Trainer wall anchor (sold separately) can also be used in door if attached correctly using the loop end door anchor piece.

3.

Two or more Resistance Bands can be used at once and can fit through the same loop (see photo), depending on the necessary placement for the exercise being completed

4.

For individual exercise Resistance Band placement, refer to the tutorials page

*Note: Serious injury can result if the Resistance Bands are not properly anchored and secured before exercise begins.

Assembling the Activation Roller

The Platform should not be used alone. The Foundation is needed in order for it to function. Platform + Foundation = Activation Roller

1

Place the Platform wheel-side down

2.

Hold the Foundation in the H Position and line it up with the indentations on the Platform

  • The Foundation can be used on its own with resistance bands

  • The Platform is useless without the Foundation properly attached

3.

Snap the Foundation into the Platform

  • the Foundation will be in the H position

  • Make sure the Foundation is secured in the Platform, it should not lift out of the Platform without great resistance
With this set-up, the Platform can now be used as the Activation Roller

  • Resistance bands can also be added to the Foundation at this stage to either assist or add resistance to the exercise
    (see instructions on adding bands)

4.

Snap the Balance Block onto the center of the Foundation while attached to the Platform. Do not attach the Balance Block to the Foundation alone without the Platform secured to the Foundation.

  • The star side will be facing out

  • The Balance Block adds the balance component to the COR-XT® Functional Trainer when attached to the COR-XT® Functional Trainer Activation Roller and used wheels up

  • With this set-up, the Activation Roller can now be used as the Balpro Board

5.

For comfort, the Foam Pad can be attached to either side of the assembled Platform depending on the exercise being performed

  • The Foam Pad decreases pressure on points of contact with the COR-XT® Functional Trainer

  • The Foam Pad is also removeable and meant to be used for under the knees during Activation Roller exercises
